Our story

The Hispion Cybersecurity Network (officially Hispion) is a sole-proprietorship company founded in 2023 by Danyar Abdulbast, a cybersecurity student at the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH).

Hispion started from a simple observation: good security information is scattered, often expensive, and hard to approach for people who are just starting out. We set out to put the essentials in one place — the tools, the news, the knowledge and an honest first look at your own security — and to keep it free wherever we can.

Today Hispion is used by learners and professionals around the world, and it keeps growing with new tools, daily stories and practical guides.

Our mission

To democratise cybersecurity by giving organisations of all sizes — and the people who protect them — accessible, trustworthy, professional-grade security tools and knowledge.

What we believe

  • Security should be accessible. Core resources stay free.
  • Accuracy matters. We cite sources and correct mistakes openly.
  • Privacy by default. We never sell personal data.
  • Defence first. We teach techniques so people can protect systems they own.
