Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of hispion.com and the Hispion Services — the Tools Directory, Hispion News, the Hispion Blog, CyberMap, the Audit Center and the API Analyzer. By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Using the Services

• You must use the Services lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to them or to other users' data.
• Security knowledge on Hispion is provided for defensive and educational purposes. Only test systems you own or have explicit written permission to test.
• Automated scraping that harms performance, and attempts to bypass rate limits or usage limits, are not allowed.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Security audits and analysis

• You may only request an audit or API analysis for websites and APIs that you own or are authorised to have assessed. You confirm this authorisation when you submit a request.
• Audits are performed with reasonable care but are a point-in-time assessment. They cannot guarantee that a system is free of vulnerabilities.
• Reports are confidential to you; we will not publish your results.

4. Content and third-party tools

• Articles, guides and glossary entries are for general information and do not constitute professional advice for your specific situation. Some content is prepared with AI assistance and reviewed by editors.
• The Tools Directory lists third-party products. Hispion does not own or control them; names and logos belong to their respective owners, and listing is not an endorsement. Check each tool's licence and terms before use.
• You may share links to our content and quote short excerpts with attribution. Reproducing whole articles requires our permission.

5. Your submissions

When you suggest a tool, send feedback or report a vulnerability, you grant us permission to use that information to improve the Services. Please do not submit confidential information you are not allowed to share.

6. Paid services

Where Hispion provides paid services under a separate agreement or invoice: invoices are payable within 21 working days unless stated otherwise; late payments may incur a fixed charge of 10% of the outstanding amount, and services may be suspended until payment is received; amounts outstanding more than 60 days after the due date may be referred to a debt-recovery agency at the client's cost; any withholding taxes required by the client's country are borne by the client; claims must be notified in writing within 8 days of delivery of the services. The client's own standard terms do not apply unless agreed in writing.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hispion is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of profits arising from use of the Services. Hispion's obligations are obligations of means, not of result.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or change, suspend or discontinue parts of the Services. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iraq, and the courts of Erbil, Kurdistan Region, have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law where you live provides otherwise.
